Steve Farbstein is a seasoned banking and mortgage executive known for transformational leadership. As Managing Director at PACE Equity, he advances sustainable capital solutions to developers and sponsors across the country. Previously, he strengthened culture and innovation at Blue Ridge Bank, following a distinguished career leading high-performing mortgage teams across multiple institutions. He also invests heavily in leadership development through his long-standing involvement with University of Richmond, The March of Dimes, and other community organizations.
Abby Johnson (Executive Director, Virginia PACE Authority)
Since 2012, Abby has helped grow the national market for C-PACE financing and is widely known as a national expert and thought leader in this space. As the Executive Director of the Virginia PACE Authority, she heads the team that administers the VA C-PACE program. Abby is also President of Abacus Property Solutions, a C-PACE real estate advisory firm working throughout the US and Alberta, Canada. Prior to specializing in C-PACE, Abby worked for over 15 years in commercial real estate as well as an architect in Italy and a building science consultant. She is also on the Board of PACENation.
